Chef Beanie Offers a Solution for Last Minute Menu Items

No time, extra guests coming to your home for the holidays? Chef Beanie who describes themselves as “dinner-time fairies” has just the thing for your next meal.

After catering for the last three years, owner of Chef Beanie, Shelly Young, opened a storefront in Westhaven recently.

Young has set out to offer  home-cooked wholesome meals in a flash. Menu items change weekly. On the menu for this week are items labeled socials which includes hot onion souffle dip, spinach artichoke dip, and pimento cheese spread all sold in one-half pint sizes for $5.50.

Chicken Divan, “The Bird” Chicken casserole, Marvelous Meatloaf, and “The Godzilla” are just a few of the entrees available, some which are frozen and other that just need heating up. Portion sizes are family size, serving 5-6 people and start at $26.99.

Side dishes come in 6×9 pans frozen and simply need to be baked to serve, with prices starting at $12.99.  Three side dishes are available throughout the holidays- cheesy corn casserole, southern squash casserole, and hashbrown casserole.

No meal is complete without dessert. Chef Beanie has a trio of  brownie offerings that include ganache, putter butter cup, and espresso brownies in varying quantites. Prices start at $12.99.

This holiday season, you can pick up ala carte menu items in single or family serving size until 6:30pm on Dec 23d.

Chef Beanie is located at the Town Center in Westhaven on Front Street, Franklin. Special holiday hours this week are from 2:30-6:30 until Thursday, December 23rd. Chef Beanie will be closing for the holidays from December 24th-January 2nd. On January 3, they will resume their normal hours of 10:30-6:30.
