Photo of the day:Skanska, one of the world’s leading construction and development firms, was recently recognized at the Association of Builders and Contractors of Greater Tennessee Annual Awards. The Nashville team received the Eagle Award for its work on Vanderbilt Kirkland Hall and Diamond Level recognition for the Safety Training Evaluation Process (STEP) award.
“Honoring the rich history of the Kirkland Hall building was an integral part of the renovation process,” said Chris Hopper, Executive Vice President-General Manager, with Skanska USA Building. “We’re proud of our team for their careful and respectful approach to the project and incorporating technology to ensure preservation of the iconic structure while modernizing it to meet the current needs of Vanderbilt’s administration.”
