We told you last week that it was time to prepare and enter your events for the Williamson County Fair. This week take a look at what Mayor Rogers Anderson had to say about last year’s fair.
The 2013 Williamson County Fair is packed with things to do, and one of the biggest attractions is the live music. There will be another “Sing Your Heart Out” competition this year, and the Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital Stage will host the Bicho Brothers, a tribute to Santana on Friday. Saturday on this stage will be The Exotics featuring songs of yesteryear and a sock-hop. Sunday the stage is filled with pageants for all ages.
Monday and Tuesday feature the “sing your heart out” competition and gospel music respectively and Wednesday is “The Motown Sounds of Touch.” The Austin Brothers, featuring Senator Jack Johnson, country music artist Charlie Worsham, Beatlemania Now, Shawn Klush and Cody Ray Slaughter will fill out the rest of the fair line-up.
Make plans to participate now in a tradition that connects decades of county residents to their roots and each other. There is no better family entertainment than the Williamson County Fair.
