You still have time to enter the competitions and volunteer for the 2013 Williamson County Fair. This year’s theme is ‘Rock Around the Fair.’ Visit their website for all the details. You only have 6 weeks to prepare so mark your calendar and good luck with your competitions.
This is the 9th Williamson County Fair to be held at the Ag Expo Park in Franklin. The dates are August 2-10 and as always they will feature agricultural displays, livestock shows, competitions in pageantry, 4-H, cultural, creative and culinary arts, as well as a “Sing Your Heart Out” vocal competition. Also in store for you is a variety of musical entertainment, Drew Exposition Midway rides and great fair food.
New this year to the midway is a ride called “Yoppi the Roller Coaster,” a family ride for all ages. The “Seattle Wheel” returns too. Tickets are only $6 for adults and $3 for children and discounted tickets are available at Tractor Supply Company stores and Daily’s Convenience stores in middle Tennessee. Included in the ticket price is the “Little Ones Farming” exhibit and much more.
