The Nashville Symphony fashion show will take place on Tuesday, April 18th at the Schermerhorn Symphony Center with featured designer Zac Posen. Plus Best New Artist GRAMMY® nominee Kelsea Ballerini is the featured entertainer for the 2017 Symphony Fashion Show.

Ballerini will join featured designer Zac Posen for the star-studded, 12th edition of the annual event. Former Miss Tennessee, actress, and television personality Allison DeMarcus will emcee the event, with Janet Ayers serving as honorary chair. 1.Ashley Olsen Interned with Posen

Ashley Olsen, child-actor who also became a fashion designer, interned with Zac Posen back in 2005 while she was a student at The Gallatin School of Individualized Study, part of New York University.

2.Posen Has Designed Uniforms 

In addition to his swoon-worthy designs, Posen has designed uniforms. A current project for the designer is uniforms for Delta Airlines that will be released in 2017.

3.He Studied at the Esteemed Parson’s School of Design 

Taking fashion design seriously, Posen studied at Parson’s School of Design in New York at the age of 16 and Central Saint Martin’s College of Art and Design in London. Posen then went on to intern with designer Nicole Miller.

4.Appearance on Project Runway

In 2011, Posen became a judge for the popular show Project Runway.  Fans and contestants alike were excited to have such a talent featured on the show.

5.Nashville Native Wore Zac Posen on the Red Carpet 

In 2012, Reese Witherspoon wore a Zac Posen dress to the Academy Awards along with Glenn Close and Naomi Watts. His designs have continued to be worn during the Award season.

6.SuperModel Naomi Campbell Sparked His Career

At 20 years old, Posen made a dress for supermodel Naomi Campbell which set off a whirlwind of other celebrities seeking out Posen to design a dress for them.

7.Posen Has Multiple Collaborations 

Posen created a capsule collection for Target back in 2008. In addition to creating uniforms for Delta Airlines, Posen partnered with David’s Bridal in 2014 creating an affordable line of bridal gowns. The same year, Posen also became the creative director for Brook Brothers as he set out to modernize the women’s line.
