1. Easter Bunny Arrives at CoolSprings Galleria

 

WHAT: Spring is in the air, and that means the Easter Bunny is making his way down the bunny trail! Starting March 10th, kids and adults of all ages will find the Easter Bunny settled in his garden at CoolSprings Galleria, ready for pictures and seasonal fun.

Make your way to the Bunny in your Easter best and choose from one of several photo options, all of which include a free $25 Shutterfly gift card. Visitors also receive an Easter Bunny coloring sheet!

For the full Bunny Experience, enjoy Breakfast with the Easter Bunny on Saturday, March 17th, from 9:30am-10:30am, sponsored by Chick-fil-A of CoolSprings Galleria. There will be arts and crafts, balloon artists, cookie decorating with Great American Cookies, and a DJ to keep the party going! Pet nights will be held Mondays from 6pm – 9pm so your furry friends can have their pictures taken with the big Bunny himself. And finally, on March 18th from 9am – 11am, CoolSprings Galleria will host Bunny Cares, a sensory-friendly photo experience for children with special needs.

The Easter Bunny is excited to see you, so stop by CoolSprings Galleria Monday through Sunday during mall hours, from March 10th – 31st. The Bunny Garden is located at Center Court.

2. Country Music Cluster Dog Show

 

WHAT: All Breed Dog Show with approximately 4,000 entries: Shows begin daily at 8:00 am. Come early to see your favorite breeds compete in the ring. Best of Breed begins in the afternoon, once breed judging is complete. Parking is $5 and admission is free.

WHEN:  Friday- Saturday, March 9-10, 8 am

3. Franklin Improv All Stars

 

WHAT: The Franklin Improv All Stars- Franklin’s own brand of comedy can now be found each month at The Little Brick Theater in the Factory at Franklin. The hot new group will bring short form improv games and long form scenes to the theater’s historic stage. And everything they do is based on your audience suggestions. Purchase tickets online here.

4. Benefit for Historic Nashville

WHAT: In celebration of its 50th Anniversary, Historic Nashville is hosting a fundraising event featuring a very special roster of songwriters in performance at the legendary Green’s Grocery in historic Leiper’s Fork.

In addition to the 90-minute concert featuring songs and stories from Matraca Berg, Trey Bruce, Chuck Jones, and Holly Williams, a BBQ dinner provided by Puckett’s Grocery and Restaurant and beer from Yazoo Brewing is included.

All proceeds for the event support the efforts of Historic Nashville including our advocacy, outreach and programs aimed at preserving and promoting the historic places that make Nashville unique. Purchase tickets to the dinner here.

5. Love the Dress Event

WHAT: Love the Dress TN 8th Annual Event takes place on Saturday from 8 am – 2 pm offering dresses for prom or for other formal social events. These gowns are donated by members of the community, area high schools, local department stores and bridal shops.
Love the Dress TN was created to help all girls be able to afford a formal for school or community functions as well as to help a local nonprofit with a monetary gift. The event also gives door prizes donated by local businesses, features makeup sessions by local beauticians, and offers how-to formal hairstyle presentations.
