Chills, anyone? The first-ever Nashville Predators Stanley Cup Finals home game is tonight! Celebrate by revisiting their star-studded National Anthem lineup throughout the playoffs. 🇺🇸🏒❤️Posted by CMT on Saturday, June 3, 2017
Nashville Predators continue to make history by drawing big crowds, with 17,000 inside the Bridgestone Arena and another 50,000 outside to cheer on the hometown team at Saturday night’s game. In the video montage above, you can see the incredible line-up of country music stars who have performed the National Anthem at Preds home games, including Carrie Underwood, Luke Bryan, Vince Gill, Little Big Town, Lady Antebellum, Keith Urban, Kelly Clarkson and Tricia Yearwood.
Unlike past games, Saturday we had a hint as to who would sing the National Anthem. Several outlets reported that Martina McBride’s daughter posted on her Facebook page about the country star singing and it did prove to be true. Martina McBride walked out on the ice on Saturday evening while Hank Wiliams Jr. waved the rally towel.
For the game on Monday night, we don’t have any hints. CMA Fest kicks off this week, where Nissan Stadium will be filled with fans to listen to their favorite country artists each evening and stages around Broadway will ring with country music Thursday through Sunday. All of the artists donate their time to perform, but that also means there will be an array of the artist in town that could perform on Monday evening.
We are still holding out for Dolly, please Dolly come sing the National Anthem. There is also Alan Jackson and Dierks Bentley. Florida-Georgia Line is opening their new restaurant on Monday evening in downtown Nashville; it’s a possibility they could head over to Bridgestone to sing the National Anthem.
So, we are putting it to a vote again. Who do you want to perform on Monday night?
