Who will Step out on the Ice to Sing the National Anthem for Game 3?

re-Nashville-Predators-vs-Anaheim-Ducks-NHL-Playoffs

Let’s face it, we are all a little disappointed by our Predators losing the first two games in the series for the Stanley Cup.

But now they are coming to our house, where country music stars sing the National Anthem.

With an incredible star-studded line-up so far in the playoffs, let’s review who has sung the national anthem.

It started with Carrie Underwood, then Luke Bryan, Vince Gill, Little Big Town, Lady Antebellum, Keith Urban, Kelly Clarkson, and Tricia Yearwood.

We have a hint as to who might sing Saturday night.

Taste of Country reported that Delaney, Martina McBride’s daughter, posted on her personal Facebook page, “When your dad gets to hang with the Stanley Cup? Oh and Tina is singing the anthem on Saturday. LOOK OUT.”

There’s been no confirmation that McBride will sing on Saturday as of yet.

Many country music stars have been strong supporters of the Predators, including Alan Jackson who showed up to his recent concert at Ascend Amphitheater in a Predators jersey, and he is performing just before the game on Broadway. It’s quite possible he could walk over and perform the National Anthem.

Chris Stapleton just recently canceled his CMA Fest appearance along with other dates due to a finger injury that prevents him from playing his guitar. However, he could sing the National Anthem.

We are still waiting for longtime Predators fan, Dierks Bentley to sing the National Anthem and crossing our fingers that Dolly would surprise us all and step out on the ice. What a perfect way to start the game and kick-off CMA Fest week!

So, we are putting it to a vote again.  Let us know you think will sing on Saturday.  Maybe we should start a poll for how many catfish will appear on the ice on Saturday as well.
