Sweat Now Offers Metabolic Typing Program

Metabolic typing is a process in which clients answer a series of questions based off the book The Metabolic Typing Diet by William Wolcott and co-author, Trish Fahey. The basis of the program is that no one single diet is right for everyone and depending on your metabolic type sticking to some diets can do more harm than good.

By answering a set of questions that can typically take up to 30-45 minutes you can reveal information as to what characteristics are dominant and which one of the three metabolic types you are: Protein Type,Carbo Type, or Mixed Type. Within the different types you can also have variations meaning you might lean more toward a slight Carbo Type, or Extreme Carbo but with food guidance you can more define what works best for you.

Oakes tells that they have great success with clients in Franklin, some choosing to do the program to lose weight while some choose the program to gain more energy.

Griffin(Oakes twin sister) told D Magazine in Dallas about a client who having being revealed to be a Protein Type, she was concerned about eating so much meat and what it would do to her cholesterol. When she had her cholesterol checked, her good cholesterol has risen and her bad cholesterol had decreased.
