The National Weather Service (NWS) reports a complex of showers and thunderstorms is expected to move into Middle Tennessee by this afternoon. Some of the thunderstorms associated with this complex may reach severe thresholds bringing damaging winds.
- Friday Through Wednesday
A cold front will also enter the mid state Friday and may trigger strong to severe storms late in the day and evening. Especially across Northern Middle Tennessee.
Heat indices are expected to once again climb into the low 100’s Friday at many locations West of the Cumberland Plateau.
