Southern Land Company’s Westhaven community in Franklin will host the second annual Whiskey Warmer tasting celebration on March 12th from 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm. Guests will be able to enjoy samples of more than 60 types of whiskey, bourbon and other spirits from regional, local and national spirit brands and distilleries. Tickets cost $35 and are currently available at westhaventn.com/events/whiskey-warmer.

Besides a terrific range of spirits, guests can enjoy food served by local vendors including A. Marshall Family Foods, Saffire Restaurant and Burger Republic.

“The Whiskey Warmer welcomes people to our beautiful community for a night of great food, drink and fun,” said Mary Lee Bennett, marketing manager at Westhaven. Westhaven is partnering with festival production firm Events Hatched to run the Whiskey Warmer. The Whiskey Warmer successfully meets a demand in the community, according to Events Hatched “Head Hatcher” Christy Bryan because, “People are curious. They want to know more about what they are consuming, who made it, the history behind the bottle and where it came from. That’s why we love this event. It gives people the opportunity to try something new and learn its story. Beyond that, who doesn’t love great whiskey, live music, cigars and a good cause?”

The Whiskey Warmer will showcase a wide variety of high-end spirits. Top-of-the line whiskeys include Stranahan’s Colorado Whiskey and George Dickel. Guests will also be able to taste several fine scotches such as Glenfiddich 14 year Bourbon Cask, Monkey Shoulder and Tullamore Dew 12 Year. Bourbon fans can try Bib & Tucker, Calumet Farm Bourbon Whiskey and Blanton’s Bourbon.

Additionally, several distillers are debuting new-to-market brands at the Whiskey Warmer including: William Wolf Pecan Bourbon, William Wolf Rye Whiskey, William Wolf Winter Spice, and revival brand I.W. Harper.

This rain-or-shine event will take place outdoors at the Westhaven Residents’ Club at 401 Cheltenham Avenue. Proceeds will benefit Williamson County and the Westhaven Foundation, which was founded in 2007 to build, enrich and preserve Westhaven and the greater Franklin community.

Attendees at the event must be 21-years of age or older, and no children, strollers or pets will be allowed.
