Outdoor Classic Structures Joins First Friday Art Scene

Outdoor Classic Structures, a design and build firm in Franklin focused on outdoor construction will be moving their talents inside for this Friday’s Art Scene. The company creates courtyards, green roofs, tiered swimming pools, sculptured landscapes and more. A unique opportunity to see what they do is offered tomorrow at their showroom on 203 Second Avenue South.

“By this point in the winter months, people are growing weary of spending so much time inside.  We thought it would be fun to ‘garden up’ the studio and bring in an early spring,” said Owner Ernie Reynolds, and award-winning landscape designer with 30 years of experience. “We’re calling it ‘yard art.’  Our designers will think inside-out to bring the usual outdoor amenities inside for the night.”

They have partnered with Heibert and Associates to install mini-gardens throughout the house. In the front room, a wooden arbor that cantilevers over an indoor fireplace will be incorporated with seasonal plantings.  “We are constructing a small vignette of what we do,” said Marketing and Sales Director Nikki Schmidt. “Our projects are a reflection of our clients’ personalities; we really do create livable art.”

Don’t miss the First Friday Art Scene; you never know what you might find that you can’t live without.
