Gigi’s Cupcakes at 1017 Crossings Blvd in Spring Hill abruptly closed. A notice was placed on the door on Wednesday, April 11 informing customers.

“We are sorry to announce that the Spring Hill location is now closed. Please visit our store in Franklin at 3065 Mallory Lane.” Gigi's Cupcakes Spring Hill

The Spring Hill location originally opened in 2015. Shortly after opening, they closed for remodeling and re-opened the store as the corporate training headquarters and test kitchen for its bakeries nationwide.

As part of the 2015 remodel, the Spring Hill location offered breakfast menu items, such as quiche, muffins and cinnamon rolls. It also served a new line of ice cream that featured three proprietary Gigi’s cupcake flavors – Red Velvet, Midnight Magic and Wedding Cake – mixed into ice cream and served in handcrafted waffle cones. The store also included a full-service coffee bar serving Gigi’s specialty coffee.

We reached out to the Spring Hill location by phone and was immediately sent to voicemail. Although nothing has been posted, as of the publishing of this story, on the Gigi’s Spring Hill Facebook Page, the Gigi’s website no longer has Spring Hill listed as one of their locations.

Gigi’s Cupcakes is owned by local Gigi Butler who began her cupcake business in Nashville back in 2008 on Music Row. Learn more about Gigi’s Cupcakes here.
