Food, Fashion & Fun Series Part 1

The second annual Eat the Street Food Truck Festival is happening on Friday, May 10th from 4 p.m. until everyone is fed around 8 p.m. Streets from Public Square to Five Points will be closed for this FREE event. Purchases of food will be paid directly to the food truck vendors and proceeds from the evening will benefit the 21st Drug Court, a treatment alternative to the 21st Judicial District of Tennessee traditional sentencing for non-violent offenders whose crimes result from drug or alcohol addiction.

Participating vendors include favorites like Biscuit Love, Chapman’s Pie Wagon, Grilled Cheeserie, Hoss’ Loaded Burgers, Puckett’s Trolley and many more. This year’s event is presented by Foundations Recovery Network. Family fun, a kid’s area and entertainment on the live music stage will feature local favorite, the Greez Monkeez. A total of 26 vendors have confirmed attendance so come out and enjoy the best mobile noshing middle Tennessee has to offer.

Street trucks serve fantastic food and offer opportunity to chat and meet your neighbors while you smell your food being prepared. For more information log-on and visit www.eathtestreetfranklin.com or like them on Facebook. Follow the event on Twitter, which incidentally is the best way to keep track of your favorite food trucks location daily.
