Fairview snatched its third win of the season against district neighbor Stewart Co. last night 49-12.
The Yellow Jacket ignited the field by scoring their first two touchdowns of the night right within the first quarter (13-0).
Heading into the second, Fairview was up 20-0 and shortly followed up with two more touchdowns. The Yellow Jackets were up a whopping 33-0 at halftime.
Into the third, Fairview kept the momentum going by igniting the end zone with yet another touchdown (40-0). Stewart Co. answered back with a TD of its own (40-6).
The Yellow Jackets fought to keep a good “arms-length” between Stewarts Co. and brought in a well-deserved closing score of 49. Stewarts Co. was able to grace the end zone just one more time before the final minutes, making its score 12.
Fairview will kick-off at 7:30 p.m. next week at home against district rival Creek Wood (1-2).
