Fairview Recreation Complex is a great place to avoid the summer heat. It opens daily except for Sunday and as early as 5 A.M. on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. The gymnasium is open for half court basketball play daily, and the game room is available most Tuesdays and Thursdays in the mid-day. Meeting rooms and classrooms are available as are youth football and soccer fields. There is a nice walking trail, outdoor pool, wellness center, classes and more.
The wellness center is very well equipped including a free weight area. Sitting service is available while you work out on a first come, first served basis. The care is not state certified and offered as “casual care” and is free to parents. Check out available times online here. Friday July 6th a customized picture framing class will be taught at the center with a $10 entry fee. On Tuesday July 3+17 a children’s pottery class is offered with a supply fee of $15 and the class is $25 for children age 6-12. Learn more about the events and classes offered on their Website.
If you prefer group fitness classes they are available. Zumba, Yoga, Belly Tone, Piloxing and more are scheduled each month.
