Baby announcements are often shared on Instagram and Facebook but the new additions to the Stapleton family came by way of Reba McEntire at the ACM Award show in Las Vegas on Sunday night.
Chris Stapleton won Album of the Year but was not present at the show so Reba came out to accept the award and to share news from Nashville.
Reba says “that’s only the second biggest news, Chris couldn’t be here because Morgane is expecting twins; we just found out those little rascals came a little early. Hot off the press – twin boys. ”
It was a big day of celebration for Stapleton he celebrated the birth of twin boys, his own birthday, Stapleton turned 40 and three ACM Awards for Male Vocalist of the Year and Album of the Year (From A Room: Volume 1 as both artist and producer).
No more information has been released on the twin boys at this time. The couple has two older children, a son and daughter whose names they have chosen to keep private.
Back in October, Morgane shared the news of the couple’s expanding family on Instagram saying,“14 years, 2 babies, & 2 more on the way. Happy 10 year anniversary babe! You make my whole world go round.”
Chris Stapleton will head out on tour in May and will co-headline the Pilgrimage Festival in Franklin at Harlinsdale Farm on Sunday, September 23 where Justin Timberlake is one of the partners/producers for the festival.
