CASA’s Voices for Children Event Raises over $100K

Williamson County CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates), held their eighth annual Voices for Children event at Graystone Quarry in Franklin on Thursday, May 2. Guests enjoyed the scenic backdrop while sipping cocktails provided by Harvest Beverage Company and Black Abby Brewing Company. Moonshine Rhythm Club entertained guests of the sold-out event while they mingled and participated in the silent auction.

Attendees were then welcomed to the indoor space for a lovely dinner provided by Catering and Events by Suzette. Executive Director Marianne Schroer addressed the crowd and thanked donors and special guests for their support of the organization. The program continued with a live auction, performances and a volunteer award presented to Nancy Sargent, who received the award on behalf of her late husband State Representative Charles Sargent.

Williamson County CASA raised more than $130,000 through the event, which directly serves abused and neglected children in Williamson County. For more information about the event or the work of Williamson County CASA, email [email protected]
