The Music City Irish Fest is Nashville’s largest St. Patrick’s Day celebration. The street festival taking place on March 14th 2015, from 11am until 11 pm on Demonbreun Hill offers 12 hours of live Irish music and dance, family fun, Irish traditions, and more. And it’s all FREE!

Molly Ramone, Colm Kirwan, Belfast Songwriters, Beat Root, Nashville Pipes and Drums, and Nosey Flynn will all take the stage at the Music City Irish Fest.
Southern Academy of Irish Dance is one of the premier schools of Irish dancing in the southeast US. Bring the kids to enjoy a performance of traditional Irish dance, meet the dancers and the teachers, and learn a step or two.
Nashville Irish Step Dancers is the award-winning, nationally-recognized group of more than 100 members is celebrating their 25th anniversary this year.
In between music sets, check out some of the crafters at the festival. Check out the tinwhistle, or penny whistle, at Burke Whistles and take home a new instrument. The Violin Shop will be on site to showcase some of their fine violins. Peruse the handcrafted leather at TheGriffin Works Leather. A Dance Tent will be open all day where you can learn steps from Riverdance, Lord of the Dance, and more to get into the real spirit of the day. If you’re thinking about a trip to Ireland, stop by and talk to the good people at Tourism Ireland. Albert Alfonso will be giving free, short workshops with his bodhráns throughout the day.
