Build-A-Bear has closed lines due to safety concerns during their first ever Pay Your Age Day.

A statement on the Build-A-Bear site reads:

“Per local authorities, we cannot accept additional Guests at our U.S. Build-A-Bear Workshop locations due to crowd and safety concerns

We have closed lines in our U.S. stores. We understand some of our Guests are disappointed and we will reach out directly as soon as possible.”

Today’s Pay Your Age Day allowed patrons to pay their age for any furry friend in the workshop.

To take part in the deal, you had to be a Bonus Club member, and patrons could sign up online or join at the store.

Patrons could pay the age of any and all children with them.  This offer is valid for one furry friend per guest. See all the rules and exclusions here.

However, this event was scheduled to unveil the brand new Pay Your Age Program on your child’s birthday month. Bring your kiddos back on their birthday month and they get to pay their age.

Build-A-Bear Workshop has one location in Williamson County inside the CoolSprings Galleria at 1800 Galleria Boulevard, Franklin.
