The Independence Eagles clinched their second-consecutive Region 5-5A title in dominating fashion Friday.
The Eagles rolled past Franklin County 62-14 for their 24th straight victory dating back to last season.

For the third time this season, the Grace Christian Academy Lions on Friday fell by just one point.
The Lions’ tough season continued as Region 4-1A foe Huntland topped them 53-52.
