Inaugural Volkswalk in Brentwood Saturday

A beautiful fall day is predicted for the October 10, 2015 “A Walk in the Park” event created through a partnership between The Citizens for Brentwood Green Space (CBGS) and the local chapter of American Volkssport Association (AVA).

Temperatures are expected to hover around 66 degrees with a mixture of sunshine and clouds. “Registrations have been steady and growing as event weekend approaches,” said CBGS President Gil Hutchinson. “Walkers can continue to register until the day of the event and even at the event itself, if they so choose. We’re expecting a superb crowd for this fun activity that can be enjoyed with family, friends, a club, a team or solo.”
