Popular Biscuit Business May Return to Franklin

Biscuit Love

Biscuit Love, a former food truck owned by Franklin residents Sarah and Karl Worley, is reported to be coming back to Franklin.

Nashville Business Journal reported earlier this week that Lille Belle’s, a mansion in downtown Franklin rented out for various events like weddings, had been sold and Biscuit Love was expected to move into the building.

“Bud Carman, the co-owner of the mansion, said he is under contract to sell the building to Fresh Capital, the real estate arm of local restaurant giant Fresh Hospitality. Biscuit Love, a Fresh Hospitality brand, will operate in the building, Carman said. The mansion is located at 132 Third Ave. S.”

When we reached out to Sarah Worley, she explained there wasn’t any official news to share at this time. “Fresh Capital hasn’t closed on the building yet, nor have we signed a lease.” However, she did add that she and her husband love Franklin and will share any news of Biscuit Love’s return to Franklin.

“Everyone knows we are longtime ‘Franklinites’, so we will be excited to share!”

Biscuit Love currently has a brick and mortar restaurant in the Gulch in Nashville and will soon be opening a location in Hillsboro Village. Biscuit Love’s popularity has grown tremendously since opening their Nashville location. If you have visited the location in the Gulch, you have probably seen the long lines, as Biscuit Love attracts locals and tourists alike.

In 2015, Bon Apetit named Bisuict Love one of America’s Best New Restaurants and in January 2016, Garden & Gun called Bisuit Love one of the five most exciting new restaurants in the south.

We will keep our fingers crossed that soon we can have a Biscuit Love location here in Franklin.
