Fairview Handles Camden Central to Stay Undefeated

Hunter Caldwell rushed for 110 yards and one touchdown on 10 carries as Fairview improved to 9-0 with a 28-14 win over host Camden.

First-place Fairview (5-0 Region 6-3A) hosts second-place Harpeth (8-1, 4-1) in a regular-season finale next week.

Caldwell’s 65-yard run and Jake Beathard’s 5-yard run gave the Yellow Jackets a 14-0 lead in the first half over Camden (5-3, 3-2).

Beathard’s 20-yard TD run increased Fairview’s lead to 21-0 in the third quarter before Camden cut the deficit to 21-7 on a 14-yard TD run.

Josh Ortiz’s 14-yad fumble return increased the Yellow Jackets’ lead to 28-7 later in the quarter.

A 67-yard TD pass by Camden completed the scoring in the third quarter.

The Lions lost for the second time in three games.
