1. Celebration of Nations

Celebration of Nations

WHAT: On Saturday, October 14 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sister Cities of Franklin and Williamson County will present their annual “Celebration of Nations” festival in downtown Franklin.

Franklin’s sister city’s current relationships are Carlton Place Canada, County Laois, Ireland and Bad Soden am Taunus, Germany.

The event’s goal is to increase global and cultural passion beginning with a personal knowledge and understanding of the interconnection of people universally.

WHERE: Downtown Franklin, 4th Avenue South (in front of the parking garage) and the connecting alley from 4th Avenue to the Historic Williamson County Courthouse.

2. Spring Hill Pumpkin Fest

WHAT:  The Spring Hill Pumpkin Fest is this weekend. The schedule for the Spring Hill Pumpkin Fest:

10am: Registration for One Mile Family Friendly Fun Through the Haunted Woods(costumes encouraged)
Fee: Individual $10 a person or $5 with a bag of pet food, $15 a family

10am – noon: Pumpkin Paint-a-long (fee: $10.00 A PERSON (Includes all materials)
*Bring A Lawn Chair

10am – 2pm: Spring Hill Women’s Show and Small Business Expo & Pumpkin Patch (pumpkin patch fee is $5 per person, which includes pumpkin and paints)

6pm-10pm: Spring Hill Pumpkin Fest Barn Dance
Fee: $10 a person

3. Brentwood Public Safety Day

WHAT: This Saturday, the Brentwood Fire and Rescue Department will hold their seventh annual Public Safety Day festival. The festival will include children’s activities and static displays of fire, police, and emergency medical vehicles. There will also be a residential fire sprinkler exhibition, as well as a vehicle extrication demonstration.

4. Fall Family Day at Noble Springs Dairy

WHAT: Noble Springs Dairy is hosting a Fall Family Day this Saturday. At the festival, you can enjoy a picnic lunch from a local food truck, pick your own pumpkin, sample cheese made on the farm, shop at the farm stand, meet and pet farm animals, watch a goat milking demonstration, romp in the bounce house, play in the corn dig, face painting and much more!

Noble Springs Dairy will also host Fall Family Days on Oct 21st and Oct 28th.

5. Kids Day 2017 at The Factory

WHAT: Kids Day is a free family event presented by Just Hope International at Liberty Hall located inside The Factory at Franklin!

Enjoy educational activities, magicians, prizes, hands-on learning, face painting, animal encounters, and more!

There will be meet and greet opportunities with some of your child’s favorite characters. Plus, guests can enjoy a variety of live entertainment throughout the day on the Main Stage! Be sure to get there early because the first 500 kids through the door will receive a VIP gift bag with coupons, prizes and more!
