Shania Twain made an appearance on Good Morning America with two announcements on Wednesday morning.
Her first announcement, “I’m finally, after 11 years, going back on tour,” Twain proudly told Robin Roberts on Good Morning America. “It’s been a long time.”
After announcing the tour, Twain says,”This is going to be a big tour for me because it’s going to be my last. This is my last tour. I’m going to make the most of it. Let’s put it that way.”
She said it was a “celebration tour” after finishing up her two-year Las Vegas residency. “I feel like I’m ready to hang my hat up in that regard. I just really want to go out with a bang.”
The tour kicks off in June with the first stop in Seattle. Twain will make a stop in Nashville on July 31st at Bridgestone. “Rock this Country” tour will include supporting acts Wes Mack and Gavin DeGraw.
Tickets go on sale to the public on March 13th, 2015. Twain also mentioned that she will be working on new music for an album but her first priority was getting on the road.
