Heading into Wednesday night’s NHL Awards ceremony in Las Vegas a Nashville Predator had never won a performance-based award, but that all changed as Pekka Rinne was awarded the Vezina Trophy as the top goaltender in the league.
Tampa Bay’s Andrei Vasilevskiy and Winnipeg’s Connor Hellebuyck were the other two finalists for the award.
