GFWC Spring Station Woman’s Club Donates $2500 to Bridges

GFWC Spring Station Donation to Bridges of Williamson County

At their May meeting, members of the GFWC Spring Station Woman’s Club
presented a donation of $2,500 to Pam King of Bridges Domestic Violence Shelter of Williamson County.

The donation was made from proceeds raised earlier this year at the club sponsored 2018 Amethyst Affair, themed “Love Shouldn’t Hurt”. This was the first year the club broadened their support to include the Williamson County based domestic violence shelter, as club membership encompasses both Williamson and Maury counties.

Domestic Violence Awareness and Prevention is a Signature Project of the international General Federation of Women’s Clubs. The GFWC is an international women’s organization dedicated to community improvement by enhancing the lives of others through volunteer service. The GFWC Spring Station Woman’s Club, meets on the first Monday of each month at 6:30 p.m. in the lower level of the Winchester
