The travel site 10best.com conducted a Reader’s Choice contest identifying the 10 best Main Streets in America. A panel of main street and downtown revitalization experts nominated 20 Main Streets. From the 20 nominated city list, readers were asked to vote for the top 10 cities.
We’re excited to say that Franklin received enough votes to be one of the top Ten Best Main Streets.
10best.com had this to say about downtown Franklin.

The street is lined with iconic historic buildings, like the 1937 Franklin Theatre, as well as a host of boutiques, cafes and live music venues.
