Chief Deborah Faulkner is proud to announce that, at a ceremony today in St. Louis, the Franklin Police Department was awarded its sixth reaccreditation by The Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies. Franklin City Administrator Eric Stuckey said, ā€œI commend our Police Department, and its officers and civilian support staff, for their professionalism. Members of our community benefit from the high standards that the Franklin Police Department demonstrates in their service to us, every day.ā€

In November, a team of assessors conducted an in-depth inspection of the Franklin Police Department, examining all aspects of its policies and procedures, management, operations, and support services. Accredited agencies are recognized as having attained professional excellence in public safety.

ā€œI am proud to lead a team so committed to being the best, in all they do,ā€ said Deborah Faulkner, Chief of Police. ā€œOur continued success hinges on the relationships our officers have with our customers: Franklin residents, business owners, and visitors to our city. All of us, working together is what keeps Franklin the special place we are proud to call home.ā€
