Coming Spring Hill Steakhouse Gets Beer Board Approval

The Spring Hill Beer Board on Monday night approved a permit for the city’s newest steakhouse.

Ten/27 Grille will open early January, on 3015 Belshire Way, Suite 101, near Lowe’s. Following Monday’s action, it is now officially allowed to serve beer.

The board members, after asking the requisite questions and assuring that the steakhouse owners will be safe and sure in serving their alcohol legally, had a few questions about the restaurant.

“I want to know if you will be serving a 2-inch pork chop,” Jonathan Duda, Beer Board member and Alderman Ward 2, asked.

Yes, of course, answered Arielle and Lawana Tullar, daughter and mother, and two of the owners of the family-run establishment, which will feature chops, filet mignon, flatbreads, chicken, salad and homemade desserts.

“It is a family business with over 35 years of restaurant experience with multiple generations working together to show their love of food and hospitality,” Arielle Tullar said.

Lawana Tullar and her husband Michael, who is also involved as an owner-operator, have been working in the restaurant industry for 30 years, Lawana said.

The board voted unanimously to issue Ten/27 Grille a permit, and welcomed the steakhouse to the community.

“We welcome you to Spring Hill, and thank you for choosing our great community,” Chad Whittenburg, Beer Board member and Ward 1 Alderman, said.
