Jon was a successful restaurant owner, operator, and visionary. He was a high energy, creative, self-starter who could often be found washing dishes or bussing tables as needed. He spent 42 years in the restaurant business beginning in 1977 in S. Florida. He moved his family to Brentwood, TN in 1994 to open Jonathan’s Village Cafe in Hillsboro Village/Nashville. He went on to conceptualize and become operator/co owner of Jonathan’s Grille in Cool Springs, Bellevue and Nashville. Most recently, along with son Jeff, he owned The Boulevard Bar and Grille and Two J’s Grille (opening in Nov) in Murfreesboro.

He loved his life, family, and friends, and was a devoted father and husband. He will live forever in our hearts, giving us the courage to be strong, work hard, and do tough things! He will be dearly missed.

Heartfelt thanks to the TN Oncology team and special friend and “quarterback” Dr. Skip Burris.

A celebration of life service will be held on Tuesday, Nov 5th at 4:00 at Arrington Vineyards Stone House, 6362 Cox Rd, Arrington, TN 37014.
