With a 1-0 victory, the Tennessee Soccer Club (TSC) 2003 Boys ECNL Team won the National Championship in Denver on Saturday, July 14. Shewit Worton scored the goal against SAC Showcase Premier to help secure the National Championship title.
“I am so proud of this group of young men. they have worked incredibly hard and deserve to be National Champions! This is a special moment and I couldn’t be happier for them,” said Head Coach Stuart Brown.

“Winning our third national championship in three consecutive seasons says a lot about our club. We talk about Developing Excellence in our players all the time and this is another on-filed example of that mission coming to life,” added Brown.
The Road to the Championship
The National Championship journey began when six TSC teams were invited to compete in the prestigious Elite Clubs National League Playoffs. The 2003 Boys traveled to Boston last weekend. After advancing in group play, they won their quarter-final match. Then it was on to Denver for the semifinal match against Napa Soccer Academy, which they won 2-1.
