Just because Labor Day has come and gone, doesn’t mean you have to say goodbye to the summer. There are still plenty of reasons to hit the beach in the fall!
1) The ocean is really warm in October. If you have been in March or April, you know you really don’t do a lot of swimming with the fishes. October is perfect because temperatures are still toasty on the sand, and the ocean has been warming up all summer. The average water temps in September and October are in the 80’s.
2) The beaches are not as crowded. Sure there are always plenty of people visiting Florida’s beautiful sugar white sands, but in the fall the numbers are not as high. This also means you will have an easier time getting reservations at your favorite restaurants!
3) Golf is glorious without as much humidity. If you are tee-ing it up on fall break, October golf in Florida is just about perfect. The humidity is lower and highs are in the 80’s. I mean, really beautiful weather.
4) Sandestin Endless Songwriters Series – The 6th annual event will bring 14 of Nashville’s best and brightest songwriters to Sandestin Oct. 1-3. Two days of free music, fun and storytelling. Hear the songwriters who have penned some of your favorite hits for Luke Bryan, David Nail, Kenny Chesney and more.
5) The price is right. If you book now for fall, you are going to save money! You can use the code SING30 to get 30% off your getaway.
