Summit had an easy time in its first TSSAA Class 5A playoff game, easing past Hillwood by a 42-7 score on Friday.

Payton Craig scored four touchdowns for the Spartans (9-2). Those runs came from 2, 12, 42 and 72 yards.

Summit hosts Page (8-3) next. The Spartans beat Page, 35-17, on Sept. 22.

A George Odimegwu 44-yard touchdown run gave Summit the game’s first points with 11:45 left in the first half.

Summit’s Matt Szymanski scored the game’s last touchdown with an 82-yard interception return with 9:34 left in the game.
