Scene Around Town: Student Shares BE NICE Message at CMA Fest

Crockett Elementary School student, Lauren Sedberry, is helping spread the BE NICE message at the 2015 CMA Fest.

Lauren can be seen holding a BE NICE sign with her favorite country artists.

BE NICE is a Williamson County Schools campaign to bring kindness back in the schools. It all began with Dr. Juli Oyer, Fairview High School Principal, after she had a not so nice encounter with an airlines employee while traveling through Charlotte.

An idea was born and Oyer, other Williamson County teachers, staff and students started spreading the word.

In March of this year, The Associated Press, recognized the BE NICE campaign and created a video showcasing acts of kindness in Williamson County. You can watch it here.
