A Williamson County soccer coach is receiving a lot of attention for recently leading her team to a national victory. Ronnie Woodard of Tennessee Soccer Club was a guest on Chad Withrow’s Friday night radio show on 104.5 The Zone. He spoke with Woodard about the amazing amount of effort it took for the U18 Girls team to the number one spot.
“I love talking about winners and I love talking about successful people here on this show,” said Withrow. “That’s why I’ve asked Ronnie Woodard to come on the show tonight.”
The Tennessee Soccer Club‘s U18 Girls Team clinched the US Youth Soccer National Championship title in Frisco, Texas on July 31. Woodard explained how this is not just a first for TSC but a first for the state as a whole.
“It’s been an amazing journey for myself, the girls, and the club,” said Woodard. “This is the first national championship Tennessee has been able to put together.”
