WHAT: Come meet your Nolensville firefighters. For the next few weeks, they are hosting “Front Porch Friday.” Every Friday from 6-8pm, the Nolensville firefighters will be on the “front porch” with the bay doors up hoping you’ll stop in to say hi. Learn more about the fire department, take a look at the trucks, and learn how you can support the department.

2. Mom’s Night Out at Taziki’s

WHAT: Check out ladies’ night out at Taziki’s Cafe in Brentwood, hosted by @thenashvillemom! Take the night off from cooking and enjoy shopping from local vendors, wine tastings (sponsored by Lipman Brothers), and light bites from Taziki’s!

The event will take place on Wednesday, September 4th at 6pm (who doesn’t love Wine Down Wednesday?). Also, be prepared to compete in a friendly Mom trivia competition with prizes! Space is limited, so please reserve your spot.

19 Miles to Music Row with Gary Chapman

WHAT: Don’t miss 19 Miles to Music Row, a songwriters night in Franklin that features 4 songwriters in the round for the first hour, then wraps up the evening with and hour-long “Inside the Hits” that features a professional songwriter playing the songs that made them famous.

On September 3 it’s the multiple Grammy Award nominated, Dove Award winning, Gary Chapman.

The live performances will take place at Franklin First UMC at 120 Aldersgate Way in Franklin, TN.

This is a free event open to the community. Registration is not required to attend this event.

5. Studio Tenn Presents Mamma Mia

WHAT: Studio Tenn is kicking off its 10th anniversary season with the ABBA-filled hit musical, Mamma Mia! at the Jamison Theater in the Factory at Franklin. The show will open August 16 and run through September 8.

Mamma Mia! takes the audience inside the hilarious story of a young woman’s search for her birth father through the story-telling magic of ABBA’s timeless songs, propelling this enchanting tale of love, laughter, and friendship into an unforgettable theatrical experience.
