The 2018 Victoria’s Secret Holiday Special will feature two locals- Kelsea Ballerini and Miss Teen Tennessee Sofie Rovenstine from Franklin. Other musical guests include Bebe Rexha, The Chainsmokers, Halsey, Leela James, Rita Ora, Shawn Mendes, and The Struts. “The Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show Holiday Special” was filmed November 8 but will air on Sunday, Dec 2 on ABC.
On social media, fans have been sharing that Shawn Mendes received a kiss on stage by Rovenstine. Teen Vogue reports Mendes was performing his single “Lost in Japan” when Rovenstine walked down the runway and blew a kiss to Mendes. A fan posted on Twitter asking Mendes if he caught the kiss and he replied, “Of course!”

Kelsea Ballerini performed with the Chainsmokers their song – “The Feeling” during the show as she wore a gold shimmer slip dress. On Friday, a troll commented on Instagram about Ballerini’s appearance stating the country artist needed to lose weight. Ballerini quickly fired back.
“Hi troll. listen. first of all, i’m not a model i’m a singer,” she said. “Second of all, I’m not responding to this to give you attention because you don’t deserve that, I’m writing because I am a healthy, normal chick which I pride myself on and work hard for and want other young girls to see that and know that ‘skinny’ is not always the goal.”
She went on to say, “And for you to think it’s okay to comment on my weight or size is disgusting.”
Kelsea ended by saying that she was going to get a burger now.
Joining Victoria’s Secret Angels Adriana Lima, Behati Prinsloo (back after a three-year hiatus), Candice Swanepoel, Elsa Hosk, Jasmine Tookes, Josephine Skriver, Lais Ribeiro, Martha Hunt, Romee Strijd, Sara Sampaio, Stella Maxwell and Taylor Hill will be internationally known sisters Gigi and Bella Hadid, and Kendall Jenner.
The holiday special also will showcase Victoria’s Secret’s newest designer collaboration with Mary Katrantzou, the London-based “Queen of Prints.” Her chic, feminine designs will be featured on the runway in a section of “The Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show Holiday Special.”
