Lady Antebellum’s Charles Kelley and wife Cassie announced the birth of their son today. On Cassie Kelley’s website,Womanista the announcement was posted. Ward Charles Kelley was born at 9:20 am on Thursday,Feb 11.
“We can’t stop staring at him and he hasn’t stopped chitchatting with us since he arrived.” They couple went on to say “He’s got mama’s nose and daddy’s eyes and vocal chords and a head full of blond hair.”
“We feel like our life just began today and are so grateful for a healthy baby boy in our arms”, they sweetly added.
Baby Kelley weighed in at 7lb 90z measuring 20 inches long.
Back in August, the Kelleys announced their pregnancy but also shared that the road to pregnancy was a difficult one filled with fertility struggles. They were told they had a 1% chance of conceiving. Congratulations on the new addition to your family! And now we can oohh and awww.
