Battle Ground Academy quarterback Drew Martin continued his outstanding senior season, throwing three touchdown passes as the Wildcats won at Boyd Buchanan by a 31-7 score on Friday night.

Receiver Jack Jewell caught two of those touchdowns, helping BGA (4-0) stay undefeated.

Martin hit on 28-of-33 throws for 198 yards.

Up 17-0 at half, Martin hit Jewell for a 65-yard strike and extended the lead by seven more.

Tiy Reed added a 45-yard punt return to extend the lead to 31.

BGA missed an early scoring opportunity when the Wildcats fumbled inside the ball inside the Bucs’ 5. But Martin hit Kel Hawkins (seven catches, 88 yards) with an 8-yard touchdown pass for a 7-0 lead with 5:37 left in the first half.

Martin hit Jewell with a 10-yard scoring strike with 2:31 left in the first half for a 14-0 lead, then, a 40-yard field goal from Matt Ligon field goal made it 17-0 at the break.

Teddy Holloway added a second-half interception for the Lions.

Standout linebacker Conner Mitchell and Chico Bennett tied for the team lead with 5.5 tackles, with Bennett contributing 2.5 for loss.

BGA travels to Christ Presbyterian Academy next week.
