Update 1/28/13: The Williamson County Community Band wants you to join them. They have performed at Franklin on the Fourth, the Main Street Festival, Schermerhorn Symphony Center, local Memorial Day tributes and numerous other free local concerts since 2001. In 2013, the band will kick off the concert season with a special performance in the historic Franklin Theatre.
Rehearsals are held in the band room of Franklin High School, 810 Hillsboro Road, on Thursday evenings from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. The first rehearsal of the 2013 will be on Thursday, February 7.

On Sunday, November 4, the Williamson County Community Band will close out the 2012 concert season with a 2:00 p.m. performance during the Williamson County Parks and Recreation Department’s annual Holiday Arts & Crafts Show at the Ag Expo Arena, 4215 Long Lane in Franklin. Admission is $2 and includes the craft show, an indoor classic car show and the concert.
Since a spectacular 2012 season kick-off performance at the Franklin Theatre in April, the band has performed ten free concerts this year; most recently at Nashville’s Schermerhorn Symphony Center as part of the Regions Free Day of Music on October 21, 2012.
