Margaret B. “Margie” Cherry, of Franklin, TN, Sept. 30, 1948 – Aug. 3, 2019.
Born in Memphis, TN, she was a resident of Franklin, TN for the past 13 years. Preceded in death by her parents, W.T. and Bernice Baddley. Survived by: her loving husband of 48 years, Don Cherry; son, William (Ann) Cherry; daughters, Elaine (Matt) Tipton and Jessica (Rob) Buntain; brother, Tommy (Randa) Baddley; sister, Gwen (Larry) Breeden; grandchildren, Adam and James Cherry, Anna Claire, David, Jayden, and Charlotte Tipton, Ava Grace, Ian, and Joy Buntain and other loving family members.
A follower of Jesus Christ, devoted wife and mother, and life-long teacher, Margie taught preschool at Germantown Baptist Church for 21 years and most recently taught preschool at Clearview Children’s Center. She was an active member of Clearview Baptist Church, serving in the worship and children’s ministries.
A visitation will be held at Clearview Baptist Church (Franklin, TN) on Tuesday, Aug. 6 from 12:00pm – 2:00pm with a Celebration of Life service immediately following. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Radius International (radiusinternational.org).
