Grace Christian Academy two-way star Austin Amor was incredible, accounting for seven touchdowns in a 64-24 rout of Wayne County in the first playoff game in GCA history.
Amor was 13-of-21 passing for 186 yards, two touchdowns and an interception, and carried 18 times for 168 yards and five scores.
Kolby Alonzo caught a touchdown, caught two passes for 64 yards and ran for 59 more on four tries for Grace Christian, which out-gained Wayne County, 457-264. He also had an interception on defense.
Grace Christian (6-4) travels to play Cornersville (10-1) next Friday. Cornersville also won its first playoff game in history by blasting Hollow Rock, 51-8.
Four first-quarter touchdowns run by Amor helped GCA dash out to a 28-0 lead.
Amor’s 46-yard strike to Kolby Alonzo put the Lions up 57-24 in the second half.
Gabriel Buzek led the Lions with five tackles, all solo, and an interception.
