Father Ryan Heads to Playoffs After McCallie Road Trip

McCallie ended Father Ryan’s regular season on a sour note, hammering the Fighting Irish by a 45-7 count in Chattanooga on Friday night.

Antonio Wright’s 14-yard touchdown run in the first half was the only Fighting Irish touchdown.

McCallie jumped all over Father Ryan early, leading 24-0 at the end of the first quarter. By half, that advantage bulged to 38-7.

Father Ryan (4-6, 1-6) will face Pope John Paul II in a TSSAA Division II-AAA first-round playoff game in Hendersonville next week.
