Page quarterback Cade Walker accounted for a pair of touchdowns, and Patriots’ defense gave up just 209 total yards, as Page ended its regular season with a 21-12 home win over Columbia Central.

Walker threw a 58-yard touchdown to Quaid Lamont, and ran seven yards for another, as the Patriots scored all their points in the first half.

Walker was 6-of-14 passing for 74 yards, and ran five times for five.

Page running back Bubba Johnson added 26 carries for 138 yards, and Austin Harshaw led the defense with seven stops and six solo tackles.

Columbia Central’s Dez Brooks ran the opening kickoff back for a 93-yard touchdown, though the Patriots blocked the extra point.

Page answered when Lamont caught his score from Walker.

Jacob Van Landingham gave the Patriots their first lead on a 1-yard touchdown run with 6:01 left before half.

Walker’s 7-yard touchdown run helped make it 21-6 with 2:21 remaining in the second quarter.

The Patriots’ Luke Bowers had a first-half interception.

Page (7-3, 4-2 in the region) will play at Gallatin next Friday in the first round of the TSSAA Class 5A state playoffs.
