The Preds are back in Smashville tonight, hoping to defeat the Avs in Game 5 and close the book on Round 1 of their 2018 Stanley Cup Playoff run. The puck drops at 8:30pm.

Last year, Predators fans were surprised when some musical greats sang the national anthem before the playoff games and they have continued that tradition this year as well.

For Game 1 of the 2018 Stanley Cup Playoffs, there was speculation that Carrie Underwood (who kicked off last year’s playoff games) would return to sing the Anthem and some even thought “Smashville Mayor” Vince Gill would sing, as Game 1 fell on his birthday. But it was Rascal Flatts who performed for Game 1.

Watch Rascal Flatts perform the anthem in the video below.

For Game 2, Brad Paisley sang. Watch his performance below.

So for Friday night, who will sing the National Anthem?  Carrie Underwood made her stage debut at the ACM Awards receiving a standing ovation so it’s a possibility that Underwood will return to sing the anthem. And we are still holding out for Dolly, please Dolly come sing the anthem!

There are others, outside of the country music sphere, who could sing the anthem like Jack White, Kings of Leon, and Justin Timberlake.

We are putting it to a vote. Who do you think will sing the National Anthem at Friday’s game?
