Visitor Seals Williamson Versus Tourney

Soccer

Two games remain in the Williamson County Versus Soccer Tournament and no one can catch No. 1 Jenks (OK). Their 26 points is too much and they will be crowned tournament champions.

There is one team playing Sunday who can make a significant jump in the standings though.

St. George’s takes on Summit at 11 a.m. at Independence High School and with a win, three goals, and shutout could move into second place.

Sunday’s other match features Cookeville vs. Centennial at Brentwood High School. A win for Cookeville could jump them to the middle of the pack while Centennial is looking for their first tournament win.

After Saturday action, Williamson County finds themselves all across the standings. Brentwood is area best in third place, Franklin one point ahead of Ravenwood and Independence for sixth and eighth, and Summit and Centennial at the bottom.
