Early Sunday morning, The Franklin Fire Department received a call about a fire in a building under construction on Carothers Pkwy near E McEwen.
The call came in at 7:54am Sunday morning and the fire department arrived 5 minutes later. The fire was under control within 36 minutes.

Currently, the Fire Marshal is reporting that the fire was confined to the roof of the B Segment of the building.
The Brentwood Fire and Rescue Department was also on scene and assisted Franklin through a standing Automatic Aid Agreement.
