Friday’s warm temperatures brought out the child in all of us at Pinkerton Park’s Touch a Truck event. The hot sun did not stop families from attending. There was everything from fire trucks, amulances, police cars and city department vehicles there for kids to explore.
As a young child we all knew someone who wanted to be a police officer or a firefighter when they grew up, maybe that was even you. This event gives children the imagination to explore, pretend and act out on their fantasies of growing up with their dreams coming true.
